Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Tubeless Clincher Rear Wheel
Compatible with both tubeless and tube-type tyres for a wide choice of rubber, Zipp’s 303 Firecrest Carbon Tubeless Clincher Rear Wheel offers great versatility, reliability and speed. The 45mm deep carbon rim benefits from Zipp’s drag-reducing dimples and AeroBalance design for improved aerodynamics and stability in crosswinds whilst the textured ShowStopper brake tracks provide greatly reduced stopping distances in both wet and dry conditions. Tubeless-ready, the wheel can be used with either tubeless or tube-type tyres.
J-bend Sapim CX Sprint spokes connect the rim to the ZR1 hub, providing excellent strength and efficient power transfer as well as being simpler to replace than many proprietary designs. Stainless steel bearings provide smooth rolling and longevity whilst the 6-pawl aluminium freehub helps lay the power down on the tarmac.
