With an aim to boost your confidence and settle the worried minds of loved ones, Specialized proudly introduce their new ANGi system.
What is ANGi?
A small addition, but one of invaluable importance, ANGi transforms your helmet into a live tracking device, crash detector and safety beacon.
The lightweight sensor measures both the forces transmitted to your helmet upon impact and any rotational movement in the event of a crash where your head doesn't actually make contact with the ground.
How does it work?
ANGi couldn’t be more user-friendly. Riders can simply pair their helmet with any smartphone equipped with Specialized’s Ride Premium App. If a crash is detected, ANGi begins a countdown alert through your phone.
If you are unable to, or choose not to stop this countdown, ANGi will assume you are injured and immediately transmit a text alert containing your most recent GPS coordinates to your chosen emergency contacts.
