Argon 18 Krypton Xroad Disc Ultegra R8070 Di2 Road Bike 2018
Part of Argon 18's Krypton family of road endurance bikes, the Krypton Xroad R8070 Di2 Road Bike has been specifically honed towards gravel riding to create an adventure bike that is equally at home cruising the tarmac as it is pinning corners on the trail. The Argon 18 HM5007 carbon frame has been carefully optimised for compliance in order to absorb vibrations whilst still providing a super stiff platform for your efforts when you hit the tarmac.
The frameset also benefits from technologies unique to Argon 18. The 3D headset, for example, is an innovative headset unit that allows for three fitting positions, allowing you to fit the bike to your exact specifications without compromising on stiffness - a traditional failing of regular headset spacers. The Argon Fit System, meanwhile ensures that each frame size benefits from frame geometry specific to the rider, ensuring comfort and assured handling determined by your exact physiological requirements.
The Krypton Xroad enjoys slick and seamless shifting performance thanks to the full Ultegra Di2 groupset, while the 52/36 crankset and 11-28 cassette make this a bike geared towards speed. The Shimano RX010 wheelset lends the bike the durability and robustness needed for off-road adventures, while the 31mm Vittoria Cross XN tyres offer grip and stability.
The bike is nicely rounded out by a 27.2mm carbon seatpost and Prologo saddle for that added touch of comfort on rough terrain. If you're looking for a versatile bike that rides fast on the road yet feels totally at home when the tarmac ends, you will struggle to find better than the Krypton Xroad Disc.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
