BMC Roadmachine X TWO Disc Road Bike
Quick and versatile, BMC’s Roadmachine X TWO Disc Road Bike is the perfect embodiment of the all-road genre. It is as efficient as a road bike but with a few features that allow it to be taken off the tarmac and onto the trails.
The frame shares its geometry with its successful Roadmachine sibling and uses the same Tuned Compliance Concept Endurance carbon layup that balances comfort and efficiency, making it a formidable long-distance partner. The relatively short chainstays give a nimble and responsive feel whilst the longer front end imbues confidence on any surface.
When riding rougher tracks, the Redshift Suspension stem gives improved control, greater comfort and less fatigue, as two elastomers provide a modicum of travel giving the bike a plush feel. These elastomers can be switched out to fine-tune the suspension to rider style, weight and terrain. The carbon seatpost is also Roadmachine X specific, with its layup and D-shape adding extra compliance to the rear of the bike when seated.
With components from SRAM’s Rival eTap AXS groupset and their more gravel-centric XPLR range, the 1x drivetrain offers a wide range of ratios that are well suited to the bike's adventurous remit. Wireless shifting means that there are no cables to stretch or get contaminated and degrade performance whilst the hydraulic disc brakes are also ideal for riding in varied conditions, with consistent control whatever the weather. As with all AXS groupsets, the system can be connected to compatible GPS devices and smartphones for extra information and customisation.
32mm wide WTB Expanse tyres are paired with CRD-321 carbon wheels to continue the versatile theme and work across a wide range of surfaces with a fast-rolling centre section and lightly treaded shoulders. As both are tubeless ready they can be run with lower pressures without fear of pinch punctures and for the extra benefits of more grip and comfort.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
