Cannondale Bad Boy 1 Hybrid Bike 2019
Combining the comfortable geometry of a mountain bike with the speed and agility of a road bike makes Cannondale Bad Boy 1 Hybrid Bike the ideal commuting bike for dealing with traffic and potholes. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power even in the wet, and the WTB Byway tyres offer a winning combination of grip, low rolling resistance and comfort thanks to their high volume and slick centre tread.
The C1 alloy frame and rigid fork provide precise steering and great power transfer, while the Urban Armor bumper on the top tube allows the bike to be parked up without getting scratched. However, perhaps the most compelling argument for the Bad Boy 1 as an urban tool is the use of the Shimano Alfine 8 hub and Gates carbon belt drive. The Alfine 8 hub means that there are no front or rear derailleurs to get damaged or require adjusting as the gear mechanism is all protected inside the hub itself. The gear selected can be changed whilst stopped at traffic lights without the need to turn the wheel facilitating a sharp getaway, and using a non-stretch belt instead of a chain means far less maintenance and no oily parts. All valuable points for a bike that is designed for daily service.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
