Cannondale R45 Disc Wheelset
Cannondale’s R45 Disc Wheelset offers great performance, strength and versatility, making it suitable for use on road and on gravel trails.
The carbon rims are 45mm deep with a blunt profile to help them slip through the wind, but they also benefit from a 32mm external width that smooths airflow over the tyre / rim junction when fitted with road tyres and helps support the sidewalls if used with wider gravel rubber. Tubeless-compatibility makes for simple conversion and gives access to the benefits of use without inner tubes; fewer punctures, less rolling resistance and lower pressures for more grip and comfort.
The rear hub features Formula internals that provide 21 points of engagement via three pawls for responsive acceleration and reliability with double-butted spokes lacing the build together.
