Cannondale Scalpel Si Carbon 3 27.5" / 29" Mountain Bike 2019
Providing off-road speed aplenty, the Scalpel Si Carbon 3 27.5" / 29" Mountain Bike from Cannondale benefits from their cross country race winning heritage. The BallisTec carbon frame uses a FOX Float DPS Performance EVOL rear shock to provide 100mm of controlled travel for traction and speed up and downhill. Both the rear suspension and the 100mm Lefty Ocho fork have a remote actuated lockout function for maximum efficiency on smoother sections of trail.
Cannondale’s in-house HollowGram 23 carbon wheelset is impressively light and stiff thanks to the Ai (Asymmetric Integration) offset frame which allows for the rear wheel to be dished more evenly. Low rolling resistance is provided by the ever-rapid Racing Ray and Ralph rubber, which can be run tubeless for even more grip and puncture resistance. The SRAM 10-50 GX Eagle cassette and 34 tooth Truvativ Stylo 6K single ring chainset provide a huge range of gears, all operated flawlessly by the GX Eagle 12-speed shifters. SRAM Level TL hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm/160mm Centreline rotors allow for precise single digit braking modulation for increased confidence downhill and in the corners.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
