Cannondale Scalpel Si Carbon 3 29" Disc Mountain Bike 2020
The Cannondale Scalpel Si Carbon 3 29" Disc Mountain Bike is part of the lightest dual-suspension XC bike range on the market. The modern geometry features short chainstays that get more weight over the back wheel for traction and control and a slacker head angle for greater confidence and stability when descending. The lightweight BallisTec carbon frame is stiff in all the right areas for instant acceleration and powerful climbing, and this is enhanced by the proprietary Asymmetric Integration offset drivetrain that also has plenty of clearance for quickly shedding mud when the conditions deteriorate. Upfront, the Lefty Ocho fork delivers smooth and precise control, especially on tight courses, and the 100mm travel can be easily locked out for more efficient climbing.
The drivetrain uses SRAM Eagle components with a 10-50t cassette and 34T single chainring and the Superlight Hi-Impact HollowGram carbon wheelset is stiff for punchy power transfer. There's also a sensor integrated into the front wheel that links with the Cannondale app for accurate ride stats and even prompts for servicing milestones.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
