Comprising of Cannondale’s endurance geometry and featuring a range of durable and reliable components that are perfect for getting the most out of your legs, the Cannondale Synapse Claris Alloy Road Bike 2018 is the ideal first road bike for someone looking for a combination of comfort, versatility and value.

At the heart of the Synapse Claris is the Cannondale Synapse SmartForm C2 Alloy frame and Cannondale Synapse SAVE fork. This combination is constructed from Cannondale’s lightweight and strong alloy, and provides the comfort needed to ride for long periods of time, whilst staying stiff enough to be both efficient and fast.

Cannondale have incorporated a Shimano Claris 2400, 8-speed drivetrain to provide you with all the gearing options and versatility you need when heading out on the bike. This wide sprocket range allows for spinning up the climbs and sprinting out the saddle without running out of gears, whilst remaining reliable and durable.

RS 32-hole front and rear wheels, combined with Schwalbe Lugano 700x25c, clincher tyres perfectly complement each other and ensure you’ve got the right level of grip and puncture resistance. The 700x25c tyres are fast rolling and durable, and the wheels are lightweight and strong - perfect for everything from gran fondo’s to local Sunday spins.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested

All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service. 

Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
