Description
Cinelli King Zydeco II GRX Carbon Gravel Bike
The Cinelli King Zydeco II GRX Gravel Bike is not just a bike; it is a high-performance carbon masterpiece engineered for those who refuse to choose between racing speed and off-road capability. By pairing a frame that is 15% lighter than its predecessor with the precision of a Shimano GRX 12-speed groupset, Cinelli has created the definitive gravel machine for the British rider. Whether you are aiming for the podium at a gravel enduro or seeking a reliable partner for multi-day bike-packing adventures, this bike delivers an unparalleled blend of Italian style and technical dominance.
Unrivalled Weight Savings and Italian Engineering
At the heart of the King Zydeco II is a COLUMBUS Carbon Monocoque frame that weighs a mere 1000g. By shedding 15% of its weight through refined material engineering, Cinelli has ensured that this bike climbs with the agility of a road racer while maintaining the ruggedness required for the bridleway. The inclusion of the Double Response layup system means the frame responds instantly to every watt of power you put through the pedals. This isn't just about saving seconds on a climb; it’s about a more efficient, responsive ride that leaves you with more energy at the end of a long day in the saddle.
Precision Handling with Advanced Integration
Control is paramount when the tarmac ends, and the King Zydeco II excels thanks to its COLUMBUS Futura Cross fork and a stiff, one-piece carbon handlebar setup. The geometry has been meticulously fine-tuned for precision, allowing you to flick the bike through technical descents with absolute confidence. Furthermore, the full internal cable integration does more than just provide a sleek, modern aesthetic; it protects your Di2/EPS compatible housing from the inevitable British grit and mud, significantly extending the lifespan of your components and ensuring crisp shifting in all conditions.
All-Terrain Versatility and Comfort
Gravel riding demands a delicate balance between stiffness for speed and compliance for comfort. The King Zydeco II achieves this through its clever carbon construction and a 27.2mm seatpost designed to dampen vibrations from uneven surfaces. With a generous tyre clearance of up to 700x45c, you have the freedom to swap the stock G-One Allrounds for wider rubber if the terrain gets particularly gnarly. This versatility ensures that whether you are tackling high-speed fire roads or muddy woodland trails, the bike remains composed and comfortable over the long haul.
Professional Grade Shimano GRX Specification
To complement such a prestigious frame, this build features the Shimano GRX 12-speed groupset, specifically designed for the rigours of off-road cycling. The 1x12 drivetrain provides a simplified, reliable shifting experience with a wide-range 10/45t cassette, ensuring you have the "granny gear" needed for steep technical ascents without losing top-end speed. Paired with Mavic Allroad1 wheels and hydraulic disc brakes for superior stopping power in the wet, this specification is built to endure the harshest environments while delivering professional-level performance.
