Focus Izalco Race AL 105 Road Bike 2018
The Focus Izalco Race AL 105 Road Bike shares the same race-ready geometry as its big brother, the Max, ideal for those looking for a fast, efficient and direct ride right from the get-go. Featuring a 6061 aluminium frameset, this lightweight offering is extremely tough and reliable, while the carbon fibre fork helps to shed unwanted grams and increase comfort levels on longer rides.
The carbon fibre fork construction helps soften the Izalco's aggressive geometry, effectively damping any unwanted road feedback before it is transferred onto the rider's wrists. This intuitive combination of performance and comfort make it the perfect choice for long distance, high-intensity riding. Utilising internal gear and brake cable routing, both the aesthetics and aerodynamics of the Izalco are improved, while also adding some extra protection between the cables and the elements, perfect for training in poor conditions.
The 105 5800 11-speed groupset complements the bikes high-speed intentions, offering the slick, reliable and fast shifting required to get back up to speed out of a hairpin, while the combined 50/34t chainset and 11-28t cassette provide a gear range broad enough for sprinting and climbing alike. Finished with a host of BBB aluminium components, the Izalco blends performance with value for money, offering the fastest possible bike without breaking the bank.
Utilising a pair of Alex ALX Wheels and Continental's Ultra Sport II Tyres, four season efficiency is improved. Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
