Focus Raven2 9.8 Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike 2020
The Focus Raven2 9.8 Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike pairs a lightweight carbon frame with top-notch FOX suspension fork and a 250W FAZUA EVATION motor for a bike made for speed.
The FAZUA EVATION motor has three levels of assistance, ranging from Breeze, through River to Rocket, which are selectable on the fly via the handlebar remote. As the names suggest, they provide varying levels of assistance so that it is easy to select the appropriate one and ensure that the 250Wh battery lasts the duration of the ride. The EVATION motor decouples at 25kph so there is no increased resistance in pedalling when it’s not providing help.
The carbon frame uses Focus’ F.I.T. (Focus Integration Technology) design to keep the bike efficient and compliant whether the battery is in place or not, and the S.S.P.S. (Stable Stiffness Per Size) idea ensures that every frame performs the same regardless of size. Shimano’s SLX and XT components are renowned for their excellent performance and dependability under pressure, so both the drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes can be relied upon at all times. Further confidence and control is provided by the 100mm travel FOX 32 Rhythm Float 29 suspension fork at the front, which also helps keep the weight of the bike down.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
