Genesis Day One 10 Disc Road Bike 2021
Simple, versatile and reliable, the Day One 10 Disc Road Bike from Genesis can be used for popping to the shops or for multi-day adventures. Its aluminium frame is has been designed for long-distance comfort and the plethora of mounting points can be used for carrying a laptop to the office or camping gear across the country. There are mudguard and rack mounts on the frame along with a top tube bag mount whilst the forks are equipped with bolts for use with Anything cages.
The Shimano Nexus hub gears keep the mechanical parts away from the rain and dirt for greater reliability and less maintenance, with the PROMAX mechanical disc brakes offering similarly reliable performance. External cabling will also be a welcome sight to anyone performing their own repairs.
WTB’s 37c All Terrain tyres do what their name suggests and work well across a broad variety of surfaces, from tarmac to dirt, and their high volume adds to the bike’s comfort on less than perfect roads. Genesis’ own finishing kit includes a drop handlebar with a 16° flare for further comfort and control off-road.
