Genesis Equilibrium Disc Road Bike 2020
The Genesis Equilibrium Disc Road Bike is a great all-rounder, combining an endurance-based geometry with proven components and practical features, making it ideal for sportives, commuting and winter training. The frame provides the compliance and the ride quality that only steel can, thanks to the Reynolds 725 tubeset and along with the carbon fork ensures all-day comfort for long rides. The inclusion of rack and mudguard mounts expand its scope of operation into commuting and winter riding too, making it a very versatile option.
The frame also includes very generous tyre clearance and the bike is fitted with Donnelly Strada 30c tyres for excellent rough road grip and cushioning.
Shimano’s 11-speed 105 groupset has long been the default option for riders who want the reliability and performance of the top-end offerings at a more wallet-friendly price and now that this includes hydraulic disc brakes for all-conditions power, it makes a very compelling argument for itself.
