Haibike Lyke 11 Electric Mountain Bike 2023
The Haibike Lyke 11 Electric Mountain Bike brings together a lightweight, stiff carbon frame, 140mm suspension front and rear, advanced Shimano components and a Fazua Ride60 system.
Fazua's Ride60 250w motor is lightweight, strong, and compact for aesthetically pleasing integration. This is paired with a Fazua Energy 430Wh battery which sits within the frame and assistance is delivered in a smooth, natural-feeling manner up to a maximum speed of 15.5mph / 25kph. A ring control unit on the handlebar allows the rider to select support mode and use the walk assist mode with ease, while a hub on the top tube features five LEDs that provide information about battery life and mode, and it even has a USB-C charging port for compatible devices. The Fazua app connects the system and allows full customisation, and charging is just as simple as the rest of the system with a charge port integrated into the frame.
Shimano's 12-speed MTB-specific Deore XT groupset features advanced technologies, and provides fast, accurate shifting across the wide-ranging cassette. Shadow technology stabilises the system, reducing chain slap and drop. Hydraulic disc brakes deliver reliable, powerful braking no matter the conditions.
The inclusion of a dropper post allows the saddle to be moved out of the way fast for steep descents and big drops. FOX suspension components maximise control across trickier terrain, with a 36 Float Performance fork up front and a Float Performance shock to the back, both with 140mm of travel.
Mavic's E- Crossmax XL S 29" wheels are versatile and incredibly strong, capable across all terrains when climbing and descending. Maxxis Dissector MaxxTerra tyres are a popular trail choice thanks to their incredible grip and they balance this well with rolling speed and weight, making them a great all-round option.
