Mavic Cosmic Ultimate III Road Cycling Shoes
Now in their third iteration, the Mavic Cosmic Ultimate III Road Cycling Shoes are designed with comfort and performance in mind. Weighing just 400 grams a pair (in size 8.5), the shoes are made using cutting edge materials, with patented Matryx technology leading the way.
This material has been combined with Kevlar, weaved together to form the upper of the shoe. The overlap upper ensures the foot remains stable even when sprinting and climbing. A low profile collar around the ankle improves the range of movement. Support and comfort are further bolstered by the 3D Ortholite insole. Matryx is a material chosen for its comfort and foot mapping support, the shoe also boasts a Full Carbon Energy SLR outsole to minimise weight.
A 6.5mm stack height improves pedal stroke efficiency and brings your foot closer to the pedal and as such enhances power transfer. Boa's IP1 Fit System is a closure device that offers adjustments in 1mm increments, allowing you to dial in the fit of these shoes with exacting precision.
