Orbea Avant H30 Road Bike 2020
Combining a strong, stiff and light aluminium frame with a carbon fork, the Orbea Avant H30 Road Bike offers predictable handling, efficient power transfer and a comfortable, smooth ride. The Avant Endurance Geometry provides a slightly less racy position for long days in the saddle, without feeling overly relaxed, and the handlebar, stem and cranks are frame-size-specific, making it easier to dial in an optimised position. This is a bike that will excel over a range of terrain whether that's the smoothest tarmac or potholed back lanes thanks to plenty of bump-smoothing compliance.
Shimano 105 and FSA components complement the build perfectly, blending reliability with performance in the drivetrain, with the 11 gears giving you plenty of range for the ups and the downs. Orbea rim brakes ensure powerful and modulated braking. The Avant rolls on Shimano RS100 wheels, a sturdy option that is able to cope with hard, all-weather riding.
- Orbea Avant Hydro - hydroformed triple-butted aluminium - frame
- The headtube, downtube and chainstays are shaped to resist twisting and transmit power to the rear wheel
- Avant Endurance Geometry endurance ergonomics result in a bike that is easier to ride and increases stamina. Handling is precise and intuitive
- The Avant fork uses a shallower, rounded-blade profile and longer fork legs to offer the best combination of elasticity, tyre clearance and torsional stiffness. The increased axle-to-crown height is offset by a shorter headtube to maintain stack measurements and improve aesthetics
- Shimano 105 R7000 and FSA 11-speed drivetrain
- Shimano RS100 clincher wheels and Vittoria Zafiro IV 25c tyres
