The Orbea Gain F40 Disc Electric Hybrid Bike brings together the comfort of a more relaxed position, the stiff yet compliant feel of an alloy frame and carbon fork, and the assistance of a powerful motor. Built into the rear hub, this motor will provide a boost up to 25kph, when it cuts out without creating any extra drag at higher speeds. The battery that powers it is small and light, fitting discreetly into the downtube, and the motor is powered on and off by a button on the top tube, which also provides information about battery and assistance levels.

The bike has been built up with reliable Shimano 9-speed components that include hydraulic disc brakes for confidence-inspiring stopping power, and rolls on Orbea Airline Corsa wheels fitted with Kenda 38mm tyres, wide enough to soak up the impacts of the harshest roads. This is a versatile bike that'll excel both on tarmac and gravel, with clearance for wider 40mm tyres further adding to its capabilities.
