A liquid crystal layer is responsible for the change of tint, and it reacts automatically and immediately to changes in light levels. If a bright day becomes cloudy, or even if you ride into an area with high tree cover, you'll always have optimal vision.
The Aspire shape of the lens and frame is ideal for the riding position, where wide peripheral vision is essential, and the frame itself is constructed from grilamid, a lightweight and flexible yet durable material. Hydrophilic rubber on the nosepiece and temples helps to keep the glasses securely in place even when it's wet or you're perspiring heavily. Finished with an anti-fog treatment to the lens, your view will remain unobstructed throughout your ride.
