Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC X01 Reserve 29" Mountain Bike 2021
The Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC X01 Reserve 29” Mountain Bike is their lightest race-ready offering. Hitting the scales at a paltry 10.24kg (claimed), it’s happy to compete at the highest level or help with KOMs and PBs on the local singletrack thanks to the upgraded Reserve Carbon wheelset and 100mm FOX suspension. Both front and rear shocks have a remote lever for adjustment and lockout, whilst the uprated Float Performance DPS rear unit uses a dual-piston valve design which improves rebound and compression flow. Open, Medium and Firm settings allow on the fly changes to better suit the terrain. The carbon frame is incredibly stiff and accurate, using a similar twin upright architecture to Santa Cruz’s World Cup-winning downhill bikes, but without the weight and the VPP (Virtual Pivot Point) design keeps the suspension plush and bob free.
SRAM’s X01 Eagle 12-speed groupset and Level TLM hydraulic disc brakes complement the frame’s race credentials, being light, reliable and performance orientated. Finishing kit includes a Syntace P6 Carbon HiFlex seatpost and Santa Cruz XC Carbon Flat handlebar.
