Santa Cruz Nomad C XT Mountain Bike 2021
A name synonymous with freeride, the Santa Cruz Nomad C XT Mountain Bike features 170mm of plush VPP suspension travel to see you crush descents and cruise the biggest jump lines. Complete with revised geometry, this fifth edition of the Nomad is rowdier than ever, and features a slack 64° head angle and increased reach for a stable, confidence-inspiring ride. 27.5” wheels help keep things nimble, prioritising fun over outright speed, delivering a spritely, manoeuvrable ride character. The robust carbon C frameset is built tough for sideways landings and inevitable cases and features a lifetime warranty for total peace of mind.
Designed to keep you on the hill and out of the workshop, the lower link bearing features a grease port for long-lasting smooth performance, and fully sealed bearings prevent water ingress to enhance longevity. The frame features a host of smart features and impeccable attention to detail and includes a fender to prevent mud and grime from reaching the rear shock. Internal routing is standard and is simple to set up, while a ribbed chainstay protector dampens chain slap for a near-silent ride.
Equipped with a full 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain, this model delivers crisp, quiet shifting, even under load. The 170mm FOX 38 Float Performance Elite fork features an oversized 38mm stanchion size to enhance stiffness, and rear suspension is taken care of by the superb RockShox Super Deluxe Select shock. The four-piston Shimano XT brakes offer excellent modulation and deliver confidence-inspiring stopping power for steep descents.
