Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon C S 27.5" Mountain Bike 2020
The Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon C S 27.5" Mountain Bike is about pushing the limits, not just for the rider but what they could achieve with the travel and geometry. With a reputation for being a great all-round trail bike with the ability to take on the valley to valley runs without missing a pedal stroke, this is one bike to rule them all.
The tweaks to the performance have seen Santa Cruz move the lower-link mounted suspension to create a shock configuration that is able to flatten out the small trail bumps with a smoother action. Less reaction and more progression as you navigate the technical elements. To increase the capabilities of the bike, the geometry has been adapted, making it longer and with a lower bottom bracket that has the positive effect of increasing stability and rider confidence. This finely tuned balance is enhanced by the suspension package, a FOX 36 Float Performance fork complements the frame and together with the RockShox rear shock help to keep matters balanced without any adverse reactions. If that wasn't enough, Flip Chip technology allows the chainstays to be adjusted, for more traction or greater maneuverability. Santa Cruz has The ride characteristics are designed to provide traction and control and this is helped by the use of SRAM Code R hydraulic disc brakes that provide modulated and reassuring braking in all conditions.
The 27.5" wheelset provides agile movement over rocks, trails or roots, the DT Swiss hubs roll well and using Race Face AR rims you have a strong wheelset to cope with any challenge. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM GX Eagle groupset, using a 1x setup, the 12-speed cassette has a broad range to take on the ups with ease. Getting in the right position when navigating technical sections is a must, a RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper seatpost will allow you to do just this and on-the-fly.
