Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon CC XX1 AXS Coil Reserve 27.5" Mountain Bike 2020
The Santa Cruz Nomad CC XX1 AXS Coil 27.5” Mountain Bike is the flagship model in the Nomad range. It is fitted with a RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate rear shock which provides 170mm of travel and a top of the range wheelset that combines Industry Nine i9 Hydra hubs, Santa Cruz Reserve 30 Carbon rims and DT Swiss Comp Race spokes. All of this is fitted to their lighter, stronger CC carbon frame. Upfront there is a FOX 36 Float Factory fork with 170mm of travel.
The RockShox Super Deluxe Coil shock features Maxima Plush fluid to deal with the demands of hard-hitting trails and Enduro riding. This damping fluid reduces friction and silences damper noise. The shock has separate and independent open and threshold pistons for more precise tunability.
The longer wheelbase combined with the lower-slung setup provides the rider with better stability and confidence when hitting the rough stuff, whilst the innovative Flip Chip offers the rider the ability to raise or lower the bottom bracket by 3.5mm. The Nomad CC XX1 Coil is fitted with SRAM's wireless XX1 Eagle AXS groupset for cable-free, electronic shifting that provides instant, accurate shifting. Keeping matters in check, SRAM Code RSC hydraulic brakes have been combined with large 200mm rotors for fade-free performance. Finishing kit is a i9 A35 stem, Santa Cruz AM Carbon bar and stem with a Chris King DropSet 3 Black headset. To inspire confidence on the descents, there is a RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post for lowering the saddle when required.
