Santa Cruz Stigmata Carbon CC Rival Gravel Bike 2020
Using knowledge and design inspiration from the off-road world, the Santa Cruz Stigmata Carbon CC Rival Gravel Bike blends stiffness, balanced handling and off-road compliance for the ultimate gravel adventure.
The full carbon frame and fork utilise a mountain bike carbon lay-up configuration to afford a responsive yet resilient ride suitable for rough roads through to forest trails. Compatibility with 700c or 650b wheelsets increases versatility further while the generous amounts of tyre clearance allow the rider to fine-tune the ride characteristics according to the terrain that is going to be encountered. A threaded bottom bracket is low maintenance and convenient while frame and fork mudguard attachments increase the scope of use through to winter riding and commuting.
The robust and dependable WTB rims are paired with the reliable but smooth spinning DT Swiss hubs within a wheelset that is ready for the hard hits, while gear changing is charged to the SRAM Rival groupset. This groupset flicks through the 11-speed, wide-ranging cassette with adeptness before the single chainring configuration is hassle-free, even across rougher off-road surfaces. Forward drive is then courtesy of the Easton EA90 crankset before the SRAM Rival, hydraulic set-up supplies modulated and powerful braking regardless of the conditions.
