Scott Foil Premium Disc Road Bike 2019
The Scott Foil Premium Disc Road Bike is Scott’s range-topping aero bike, for racing and fast riding when cutting through the wind as efficiently as possible gives a distinct advantage. With many professional victories under its belt, the Foil has seen action at Grand Tours and Classics alike, and this latest iteration builds beautifully on this success.
Every part of the HMX carbon frame has been designed for aerodynamics and optimum power transfer, so every watt of effort propels the bike forward with the minimum of fuss. The head tube is impressively aerodynamically at low yaw angles, whilst the cables are all neatly tucked into the frame via a single port on top of the downtube to keep them out of the wind. As well as the aerodynamic features, the Foil frame has a number of practical elements too; the dropouts have been designed for easy and quick wheel insertion, 30mm tyres can be accommodated, there is a removable chain guard, and the vertical compliance has been increased by 86% for comfort. The newly designed fork not only manages the extra forces generated by the use of disc brakes but also smooths airflow around the caliper for less drag.
Shimano’s excellent top-tier Dura-Ace Di2 groupset offers fingertip shifting and braking thanks to the electronic gears and hydraulic brakes, meaning perfect shifts and fantastic stopping power every time in all conditions. The 303 NSW Disc Firecrest carbon wheelset, from premium wheel manufacturer Zipp, complements the bike beautifully; deep enough to make a noticeable aerodynamic difference but not so deep that crosswinds become an issue. Other carbon components are supplied by Syncros, including the very clean and aero integrated handlebar and stem set up which uses internal routing to keep all the cables and wires out of sight and out of the wind.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
