Scott Speedster 20 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017
The Scott Speedster 20 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017 takes affordability and durability, then blends it with performance out on the cyclocross course - ideal for anyone who wants a do-it-all bike, or a bike for commuting, road riding and then heading off the beaten track on the weekend.
Constructed specifically for disc brakes, the Speedster 20 Disc uses doublebutted 6061 alloy for the frame and their renowned carbon layup for the fork, which keeps the durability of the bike to a maximum but the weight to a minimum.
The Scott Syncros RR2.0 handlebars and Syncros FL2.0 stem keep the front end rigid, ensuring that when you’re hammering over rocks and roots in the forest section, you won’t damage the integrity of the bike.
Shimano’s RS305 disc brakes provide great power at your fingertips, all whilst performing in both the wet and the dry. Because they are mechanical, they are easy to maintain, too, so as you get used to your bike and gain more confidence when fixing parts, you can easily clean and replace anything that needs a bit of TLC.
Shimano Tiagra 4700, 10-speed gearing is another area in which the Speedster 20 excels - allowing you a wide range of gearing to spin up climbs or hammer along the straights. Thanks to its 11-32t cassette, you’ve also got an extra push for your when your legs start to get tired, too.
Scott Syncros Race 22, clincher wheels and Kenda Kwik 700x35c tyres are a great addition to such a durable frame, and thanks to their high-quality construction, puncture protection and grip, you’ll be riding more off-camber sections in greater confidence.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
