Scott Speedster 40 Flat Bar Road Bike 2017
The Scott Speedster 40 Flat Bar Road Bike 2017 is a versatile choice for the rider looking for an all purpose easy ride, be it for their fitness, commute, or simply to get out and explore their local roads. With a double butted 6061 alloy frame headlining, this bike's frame provides you with an improved shaping that offers aerodynamic efficiencies that will help you expand your rides and get to where you're going with less effort.
The frame and fork offer a lightweight basis, whilst the components are reliable and proven, ideal or the entry level rider looking for an option that will simply work each time they swing their leg over the bike. Using Shimano Claris, the Japanese brand's entry level road riding components, this bike is a perfect match for the enthusiastic and fresh-faced rider.
This particular model also offers the rider a triple chainset, so you can benefit from a wide gearing range, allowing the beginner the required gearing to tackle harder climbs and ride up the hills as well as down them. Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
