Specialized Allez Sprint Comp 105 Disc Road Bike 2021
With short chainstays and a super-stiff aluminium frame, the Specialized Allez Sprint Comp 105 Disc Road Bike is very efficient at transferring power to the road making it ideal for the kind of sudden accelerations needed for successful criterium racing. Furthermore, the hydroformed tubes have also been aerodynamically optimised for more speed from less effort. Uniform performance across the size range is guaranteed by Specialized’s ‘Rider-First Engineered’ design which ensures that each frame is just as stiff and compliant as the rest, regardless of size. The carbon Tarmac Disc fork provides precise steering response and helps absorb fatigue-inducing chatter from poor road surfaces.
Shimano’s 11-speed 105 groupset and hydraulic brakes might sit third place in their line-up, but they offer virtually the same performance as the more expensive offerings at a fraction of the price by foregoing some of the more exotic materials used. Control and power from the brakes mean more confidence and greater cornering speeds, whilst the snappy gear changes from the 105 shifters give instant access to the right ratio for the sprint to the line. The R470 Disc wheelset from DT Swiss has a 24mm wide profile, which allows the tyres to open up and offer more comfort and cornering grip, and can be converted to tubeless if so desired.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
