Whether touring, wanting to head off the smooth asphalt or just want a tough commuting bike, the Specialized AWOL Road Bike 2015 will be perfect for the job. A freeroad bike for the adventurous, with a traditional twist. Made from Reynolds premium Cr-Mo, fully butted steel, then brought right up to the 21st century with Avid BB7, mechanical disc brakes and Shimano's trusted Sora 9-speed driveatrain. A specifically designed AWOL handlebar graces this bike for impressive comfort and handling.
The eye-catching satin tinted and raw green frameset is one tough beast, with cast dropouts Specialized graphics, ready for whatever you throw at it.
A rugged bike like this needs an equally strong pair of wheels, the 29 inch disc rims cater for this perfectly. Disc braking power is provided by Avid BB7, mechanical discs. These in turn help the durable and grippy Specialized Trigger Sport 42c 60TPI tyres stop in their tracks.
The FSA Omega, MegaExo, triple crankset does not just look good but also gives a direct and uncompromised power delivery straight through the pedals onto the road.
This is one comfortable bike, with a Specialized Body Geometry Phenom saddle that uses steel rails providing comfort whatever the terrain and however long you are in the saddle for.

Technical Specification
Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
