The CruX uses a semi-compact race design and is ready for racing and even commuting. As the frame includes two bottle cage mounts, it is also ideal to be used as a winter training bike.

The new kid on the cycling block at the moment is disc brakes, providing precision braking performance, unparalleled modulation and great mud-shedding capabilities. Specialized recognised this and created the CruX Disc range.

Hotly anticipated with semi-compact race geometry. The use of Specialized FACT 10r carbon, means the bike is race ready, aggressive and ultra responsive, everything you want from a rugged cyclocross bike. A tapered headtube enhances ride quality, offers responsive feedback and allows for an aggressive position. This aluminium frame has had a lightweight and stiff FACT Carbon fork added. This results in a ride offering direct steering, comfort and pin sharp handling.

Specialized continue the aluminium theme with Comp handlebars, stem and a Sport alloy seatpost. Everything is covered leaving you ready to hit the trails.

Shimano have added their smooth shifting, responsive and reliable 105 5800 11-speed groupset and TRP, the braking specialists, have adorned the bike with HY/RD hydraulic discs.

A Praxis Works, TURN Zayante, BB30 Crankset is both attractive and stiff, ideal for powerful surges in pedalling.

Wheels are AXIS 2.0 Discs. Strong, fast and durable. Specialized have developed the Trigger Pro Tyre specifically for cyclocross bikes, offering exceptional grip, puncture resilience and a low rolling resistance.
