The Specialized Demo 8 I Carbon Disc Mountain Bike 2017 is renowned as one of the most sought after downhill bikes on the market and for good reason. The frame is constructed from Specialized FACT 10m carbon frame that’s incredibly strong, durable and lightweight, ensuring your control of the bike is constantly at optimum levels, whilst any big hits you take are easily absorbed.
200mm of travel sounds like a lot, but you’ll be glad you have it when hitting huge jumps and taking a direct line straight over huge rock gardens. The RockShox BoXXer RC 650b front fork allows for complete compression adjustment so you can dial in your perfect preference, whilst absorbing anything that stands in your way.
A custom Öhlins TTX rear shock set this bike apart from the rest of the competition. Öhlins are known to produce world cup winning suspension that absorbs anything you roll over, so it’s only fitting that the Demo 8 I Carbon is twinned with this beautiful component.
SRAM Guide R hydraulic disc brakes with 200/180mm rotors provide the immense braking power you need when taking on almost vertical gradients. These brakes also modulate heat unlike any other, ensuring you have the same braking power throughout your run.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
