The Specialized Diverge A1 Road Bike 2015 the ideal affordable, mile munching, rugged road bike for rough roads. With room for 35c tyres this is a truly versatile beast. The frameset is something special and is adorned with, equally impressive, AXIS Classic Disc wheels, Shimano Claris 8-speed gearing, Specialized Espoir Sport tyres and Tektro Spyre, mechanical disc brakes. Comfort, performance and technology all incorporated into a multi-purpose road bike.
The Shimano Claris compact crankset adds to this bike's stunning looks and provides a smooth and resistance free spinning action whatever the terrain.
The durable and fast AXIS Classic disc clincher wheelset is strong and ready for whatever surface you choose to ride the Diverge down. The AXIS Classic wheels are paired with Specialized Espoir Sport 60 TPI tyres. These tyres are 30c, so offer a fantastic balance between comfort, durability and speed.
Shimano have provided their Claris 2400 8-speed groupset. This state of the art system, provides effortless and rapid shifting and 8 gears to play with.
Braking is catered for with responsive, powerful Tektro Spyre, mechanical disc, dual pivot brakes. Comfort is found with the Specialized range of handlebars, stem and seatpost that are strong, lightweight and match the frame's clean image. You are sure to sit in comfort with the supportive Specialized Body Geometry Toupe Sport Saddle that is designed with comfort and support in mind.
A bike for the climbs and descents, with a compact, 50/34 chainring set up and a 11/32 cassette leaving you with plenty of gearing options for whether you are completing a sportive or riding to the café.

Technical Specification
Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
