Specialized Pitch Comp 27.5" Mountain Bike 2018
An extremely capable all-rounder equally as at home on cross-country treks as it is shredding trails, the Specialized Pitch Comp 27.5" Mountain Bike is the perfect entry point to the world of off-road adventure. If you want to get involved in the thrill of mountainbiking but remain unsure which discipline you'll make your own, this bike is a fantastically versatile option that covers all bases.
The A1 Premium Aluminum frame keeps the whole setup light, while the SR Suntour XCM front fork provides plentiful suspension to help smooth out even the roughest of trails. However, the hardtail rear-end also keeps the bike stiff enough for efficient pedalling over tarmac and hardpacked ground. The hydraulic Shimano disc brakes lend effective and efficient stopping power, even in wet conditions, making this a truly year-round bike. The shifting, meanwhile, is provided by Shimano shift levers and derailleurs - high quality components that will provide effortless shifting, in any conditions.
This bike comes supplied with a wide-ranging 11-34t cassette which, when paired with a 44/32/22t triple chainset, provides a huge spread of gears that will ensure you are ready for any climb, no matter the gradient. Specialized's own-brand Ground Control Sport tyres are a grippy and versatile option that will keep you riding with control over all terrain, while the Henge Sport saddle is a comfortable seat chosen with all-day riding in mind.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
