Specialized Rockhopper Comp Mountain Bike 2021
A venerable entity within the brand's collection, the Specialized Rockhopper Comp Mountain Bike has been re-imagined to offer new-found tiers of performance while keeping an attractive price point firmly intact. Fresh riding characteristics are realised by the new design to bring about magnified levels of enjoyment and ride execution across any off-road landscape.
The frame, employing the brands own A1 Premium Alloy, has an accurately butted tube formation to result in a chassis that is light, nimble, composed and robust. Realised with a fresh, cross country inspired geometry, the ride is infused with a tenacious and snappy character that is also surefooted and confidence-inspiring, no matter the technicality or genre of the trail. The SR Suntour fork that is Rx Tune configured to deliver the perfect suspension level forms an ideal coalition with the frame by promoting increased trail precision and comfort, regardless of terrain severity.
Stout alloy rims are durable and dependable and are linked to the reliable and smooth Shimano hubs via stainless spokes to deliver a rugged but responsive wheelset. An advanced theory that sees wheel size, either 27.5 or 29-inch, selected in relation to the frame size, further facilitates optimal handling traits no matter the size and skill of the rider.
Any trail profile is catered for by the wide-ranging 2 x 9-speed Shimano gear platform before a full Shimano hydraulic disc brake arrangement bestows modulated and powerful stopping no matter the sharpness of the corner ahead.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
