Incorporating a Bosch motor and battery system that provides assistance up to a maximum speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h and up to 69 miles of range, the Tern HSD P9 Electric Cargo Bike is highly functional and versatile enough for a variety of outings. It can carry up to 170kg so is perfect for transporting cargo, taking the kids to school, shopping and days out. The step-thru frame is easy to mount and dismount and the longer wheelbase and lower centre of gravity make the bike incredibly stable. A Suntour suspension fork effectively soaks up bumps to make the ride smoother. 

Despite its capabilities as a cargo bike, the HSD has a small footprint, even smaller than a regular bicycle, and it's easy to transport and store thanks to the ability to fold it flat in just 15 seconds, or it can be stood vertically when floor space is limited. There's a dedicated trailer mount included and the extra-long Atlas H Rack™ is compatible with a host of Passenger System accessories to suit individual needs. 

The frame can be adjusted for riders between 150 and 195cm tall, and there's also adjustability in the saddle, seatpost and stem. Equipped with front and rear lights, a kickstand, mudguards, chainguard and lock, the HSD is ready for all conditions and eventualities. 

Shimano Alivio 1x9-speed gearing provides a good range for both ups and downs and the hydraulic disc brakes are powerful and reliable on both wet and dry roads, stopping you fast as and when required. Strong 20" Tern Atlas wheels are fitted with Schwalbe Big Apple tyres with reflective sidewalls for maximum puncture protection and visibility in low light.
