Trek Emonda SL 5 Road Bike 2018
If you're looking for the performance of a lightweight carbon bike, with a reliable and efficient build to match, then the Trek Emonda SL 5 Road Bike is not one to overlook. Trek's Ultralight 500 Series OCLV (Optimum Compaction Low Void) carbon is exceptionally low in weight, yet is strong, and stiff exactly where it needs to be. Internal cable routing adds to the sleek aesthetics and the full carbon fork effectively soaks up road buzz.
Featuring trickle-down technology from Shimano's higher-end groupsets, the full 105 drivetrain is reliable and durable, with fast, precise shifting. The compact chainset and 11-28 cassette offer a wide range of gears to get you spinning up the steepest, longest climbs as well as tackling fast sweeping descents and flat sprints alike.
Direct-mount rim brakes provide improved braking with excellent modulation, and the design offers a slight aerodynamic advantage. Increased tyre clearance means you can fit tyres up to 28mm wide.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
