The Trek Emonda SL 5 Road Bike brings top-end race technology, a dependable groupset and Trek’s superior 500 Series OCLV carbon to an accessible price point - it is ready to race, straight out of the box.
The Emonda range is developed to be the ultimate in lightweight race engineering, and the SL 5 is no different. The 500 Series OCLV carbon is the optimal balance of weight, strength and stiffness, creating a light-footed bike that dances up the climbs, is highly responsive to pressure on the pedals when you need to put in a big effort and descends with precision.
The reliable Shimano 105 drivetrain with 50/34t (compact) chainset and 11-28t, 11-speed, cassette has plenty of range for finding that cadence sweet spot of power and efficiency. The geometry of the H2 fit, again inherited from pro racing, aims to place the rider into an optimal position for power and performance without stressing the body or accelerating fatigue.
At the front, you can keep the handlebars clutter-free by utilising the Bontrager Blendr-compatible stem technology which lets you customise the mounting of lights and a bicycle computer.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
