The Trek Emonda SL 6 Pro Road Bike 2017 hosts the same ride-enhancing features as the Emonda SL 6, but the upgrade comes in the form of the high-performing, ultra stiff and lightweight wheels; the Vision Metron 40 LTD wheels. These wheels have been developed to provide a strong base to lay down the power, whilst remaining completely rigid to enhance power transfer. All-in-all, these wheels take performance to the next level.

Trek’s 500 Series OCLV Carbon is one of Trek’s lightest carbon frames, providing a strong, stable and incredibly light base for you to put your power into. Ride Tuned Performance Tube Optimisation is behinds the frame's stiffness, even when sprinting out of the saddle but Trek have managed to incorporate a whole new level of comfort into their Emonda SL 6 Pro through ample vertical compliance, which soaks up road chatter and inconsistencies - all without affecting efficiency.

A Trek Emonda full carbon fork accentuates these features, pushing comfort and performance even higher due to its ability to absorb vibrations from the road surface. This lowers the risk of hand numbness on the bars.

Shimano Ultegra 6800 has been utilised throughout the Emonda SL 6 Pro for its well-known reliability and high-performance. Throughout the cycling industry, Shimano Ultegra 6800 has gained a reputation for quick shifting with little pressure or hassle and it delivers in this bike. The wide range of gearing offers the versatility of spinning up climbs or attacking on the flats, whilst the Ultegra 6800 braking enhances braking.
