Trek Fuel EX 8 GX Eagle 29" Mountain Bike 2020
The Fuel EX 8 GX Eagle 29" from Trek offers a great value Mountain Bike that is more than able to climb, descend and handle twisty trails. The Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame has 130mm of travel from the FOX Performance FLOAT EVOL rear shock, which uses a RE:aktiv Thru Shaft 3-position damper to better keep the rear wheel in contact with the ground, thus improving traction. The frame also features Trek’s variable geometry Mino Link for greater versatility and a Knock Block headset that prevents the fork crown from hitting the downtube. The 140mm FOX Rhythm 34 FLOAT EVOL air spring fork complements the rear end travel and uses the GRIP damper to help control the suspension.
SRAM’s GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain has a 10-50 cassette and a 32 tooth chainring to ensure a wide enough range of ratios for any eventuality, whilst the hydraulic disc brakes are from Shimano’s MT600 range, offering performance and reliability. Boost dropout spacing helps the 29” Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels stay stiff and track accurately through ruts and rock gardens, whilst when it gets steep and technical the Bontrager Line Dropper seatpost makes it quick to lower the saddle out of the way.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
