Trek Fuel EX 8 XT 27.5" Mountain Bike 2020
An Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame on the Fuel EX 8 XT 27.5" Mountain Bike offers 130mm of travel from a FOX Performance FLOAT EVOL rear shock and features Trek’s Mino Link rocker chip that can be switched to give an alternative geometry to better suit rider or trail. The Knock Block design prevents the fork crown from hitting the frame in the event of an accident and cables are routed internally for a tidy aesthetic. The front shock is the FOX Rhythm 34 FLOAT EVOL air spring fork with 140mm of travel, with a GRIP damper that increases traction and small bump sensitivity.
27.5” Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels enable the smaller frame sizes to remain consistent with the larger frames in terms of handling and ride, with Bontrager also supplying the XR4 Team Issue tyres and Line Dropper seatpost. The groupset makes good use of Shimano’s lauded XT range, which offers virtually all the performance of XTR at a more palatable price point, making it ideal for use on a hard-charging all-mountain machine such as this.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
