TrekFuel EX 9.9 X01 Eagle AXS 29" Mountain Bike 2020
Trek’s Fuel EX 9.9 X01 Eagle AXS 29" Mountain Bike feels equally at home climbing, descending and flicking through tight trails. The FOX Factory FLOAT EVOL rear shock and Factory 36 FLOAT EVOL air spring fork both do an excellent job of keeping traction up and absorbing both large and small bumps, aided by the Kashima Coat which increases the smoothness of the stanchion and therefore the fork’s suppleness. The carbon frame also benefits from Trek’s Mono Link design that allows the angles to be altered, Knock Block protection against the fork crown and integrated storage for tools.
SRAM’s wireless 12-speed X01 Eagle AXS drivetrain gives instant shifts at the lightest touch of a button, with no need to allow for cable stretch or mud, making every gear shift precise and crisp. The AXS system also controls the RockShox Reverb wireless dropper seatpost, doing away with yet more cables and the AXS smartphone app even allows customisation of certain drivetrain functions if so desired. Shimano XT 4-piston hydraulic brakes provide tireless stopping power whilst the Bontrager Line Carbon 30 wheels and 2.6x29” XR4 Team Issue tyres are both tubeless-ready.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
