Trek Fuel EX 9.9 XX1 AXS Gen 6 Mountain Bike 2023
The Trek Fuel EX 9.9 XX1 AXS Gen 6 Mountain Bike brings together a performance-oriented frame with top-level MTB-specific components. The lightweight, stiff OCLV carbon frame has 140mm travel, and the FOX Factory 36 150mm travel fork and Factory Float X rear shock deliver bump-smoothing comfort and control. Progressive trail geometry gives you better control on descents and greater pedalling efficiency, with the Mino Link allowing you to tweak the geometry to best suit rider and terrain.
This bike is fitted with only the best components, and SRAM's XX1 Eagle AXS 12-speed mountain bike-specific drivetrain shifts instantly and precisely, and offers a gear range able to handle the demands of off-road riding. This fully wireless system sheds weight wherever possible, with the use of titanium hardware and carbon fibre, but is still incredibly robust, able to handle you point the bike at. A narrow-wide chainring tooth profile as well as a clutch on the rear derailleur help with chain retention on the 1x system, preventing issues over rougher terrain. Customisable using the AXS app, the drivetrain can be completely personalised to rider preferences.
SRAM Code RSC hydraulic discs take care of braking in all conditions, wet and dry. Wheel size is frame-size dependent, and the bike rolls on either 27.5" or 29" wheels fitted with Bontrager SE5 Team Issue tubeless-ready tyres. The inclusion of a RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post means the rider is able to move the saddle down and out of the way for steep, technical descents.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
