Trek Powerfly FS 5 G2 Electric Mountain Bike 2020
Trek’s Powerfly FS 5 G2 Electric Mountain Bike pairs a 130mm travel chassis with Bosch’s 250W Performance CX motor to make a highly capable off-road machine. The Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame houses the RIB (Removable Integrated Battery), which can be taken off for easy recharging, and also features Trek’s Mino Link adjustable geometry for fine-tuning the ride characteristics.
The motor itself has four power modes, from Turbo to Eco, which add between 60% and 340% assistance to the rider’s input. Mode changes can be controlled on the fly from the handlebar remote, so the right option is only a click away, and there is even an intelligent walk mode to help when manoeuvering the bike.
Braking and shifting duties are performed admirably by Shimano’s reliable Deore groupset and MT200 hydraulic brakes, ensuring that fast gear changes are available even under pressure and that confidence-inspiring stopping power is always to hand. The TranzX dropper seatpost is a vital component for greater control on difficult sections and the 27.5” wheels also improve the bike’s nimble handling.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
