The Project One Madone SLR 7 Disc Road Bike from Trek has an aerodynamic 700 Series OCLV Carbon frame with Kammtail Virtual Foil tube shapes and internal cable routing like many other premium bikes. Where the Madone SLR 7 differs is that the frame also incorporates an IsoSpeed decoupler which enables the seat tube to move independently of the rest of the frame to add compliance. The amount of potential movement can be adjusted to suit the rider or course, and the rebound is controlled by an elastomer so it's always smooth.
The 50mm deep Bontrager Aeolus Pro 5 OCLV Carbon wheels are tubeless-ready and the semi-integrated handlebar and stem allow for adjustment so that a comfortable position is easy to find. Shifting and braking both come courtesy of Shimano and their R8000 mechanical groupset with hydraulic brakes so their performance and reliability match that of the rest of the bike.
