Trek Project One Speed Concept SLR 9 TT/Triathlon Bike 2023
Fast, light and practical, Trek’s Project One Speed Concept SLR 9 TT/Triathlon Bike is superbly well-suited to providing podium-worthy performances on long time-trials or triathlons.
The frame’s tubes have Kammtail Virtual Foil (KVF) tube shaping for reduced grab and are made from 800 Series OCLV Carbon, both of which are factors in keeping the bike’s weight much lower than many aero or TT machines. IsoSpeed is an elastomer damped vibration absorption system in the top tube that helps stave off fatigue and allows more power to be laid down for longer and also reduces numbness on long rides.
Highly adjustable so it's easy to achieve the perfect, sustainable aerodynamic position, the handlebar, stem and extensions design also allows the bike to be more easily packed down for travel than many time-trial bikes, making getting to and from races easier and simpler.
Integrated storage gives the ability to carry plenty of food and liquid to keep well-fuelled without compromising the bike’s aerodynamics. There is a Speed Concept downtube bottle cage and bottle included with the bike and an integrated Bento box in the top tube for keeping snacks close at hand and easily accessible.
As befits such a high-performance frame, the components are equally worthy. Shimano’s latest 12-speed Dura-Ace Di2 electronic groupset is faster and more accurate than ever when it comes to shifting and the hydraulic brakes borrow some technology from the mountain bike range for improved power and modulation. Shifting can be done from either the base bar or the extensions, so an aero position can be maintained and Bluetooth connectivity to the E-Tube app allows some monitoring and customisation of the system.
Carbon Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 wheels and tubeless-ready R3 Hard-Case Lite tyres complete the build, giving a great alternative to a full disc wheel when conditions aren’t suitable.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
