Trek Rail 9.8 GX Eagle Electric Mountain Bike 2020
Trek’s Rail 9.8 GX Eagle Electric Mountain Bike provides everything necessary to enjoy great days out in some serious terrain. The 250W Bosch Performance CX motor has four assistance modes varying from 60% to 340% additional power, and there is even a walk mode to help when manoeuvering the bike, meaning all the fun of uplift accessed riding without the need for an uplift. The handlebar-mounted Purion controller gives easy, on the fly access to all the modes so they can be altered quickly and easily. The 325Wh hour battery has been neatly integrated into the downtube, but is also removable for recharging away from the bike if required.
With 150mm of plush travel at the rear and 160mm at the front from the RockShox shocks, control, traction and comfort is guaranteed, allowing huge speed downhill through rock gardens, across babyheads and over gap jumps. Shimano’s powerful 4-piston SLX hydraulic brakes are well up to the task of controlling this speed, and SRAM’s wide-range 12-speed GX Eagle groupset provides ample gears when the time comes to go back up for the next run.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
