Trek Speed Concept SLR 9 Triathlon Bike 2023
The Trek Speed Concept SLR 9 Triathlon Bike is the epitome of performance, aimed at providing every possible advantage to the triathlete aiming for a PB or even a step on the podium.
The performance of the Speed Concept goes well beyond the wind tunnel tested frame with its Kammtail tubes and slippery shape. In order to provide a race-winning advantage, the bike makes good use of Trek’s IsoSpeed design that effectively isolates the rider from small bumps and tiring vibrations caused by less-than-perfect road surfaces without impacting the efficiency of the power transfer. This means less fatigue and more power for longer.
The frame also features an integrated Bento box on the top tube so that nutrition can be easily accessed on the move without affecting the bike’s aerodynamics and a Speed Concept downtube bottle and cage that seamlessly blends into the frame. There is also downtube storage for spares and tools that is equally well hidden from the wind, so everything needed for the longest of races can be carried with ease.
The fully customisable front end offers plenty of adjustment so that the perfect, efficient fit can be achieved and thought has also been given to ensuring that the bike is simple to disassemble and build back up for races that require travel. 51mm deep Bontrager Aeolus RSL 51 OCLV Carbon wheels provide the ideal complement to the frame, being both fast and light along with tubeless-ready.
Shimano’s Dura-Ace R9200 electronic drivetrain provides effortless, accurate shifting whether from the extensions or from the base bar, with just a light touch required to call up the next ratio. There is even the possibility to program certain shifting functions to be automated through the E-Tube app, making life on the road as easy as possible. With hydraulic disc brakes, descents and corners become an opportunity to gain time rather than an exercise in caution and Shimano’s Dura-Ace braking system fitted to the Speed Concept is one of the very best available, offering superlative power and control.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
