Zipp Tangente Cork Composite Brake Pad Inserts for Carbon Rim (1 pair)
Going fast is a fantastic feeling but being able to stop safely and slow down without any drama is rather important too. This is where the Zipp Tangente Cork Composite Brake Pad Inserts for Carbon Rim come in.
After years of development Zipp has created a brake pad to work in harmony with their high-quality carbon fibre wheels. Made specifically to work with the heat created by braking on carbon. The specially developed composite cork polymer reduces glazing and provides unflustered and predictable braking performance. The design also prevents brake pulsation, a common issue with rubber pads with the build-up of residue. The pads offer an assured traditional cork feel yet due to the carefully created shape and 0.5 millimetre greater overall thickness than most rubber carbon-specific brake pads they are also more durable and last longer. The innovative shape features more material on the front of the pad, further enhancing durability and offering better wet weather stopping power as the pads shed water.
Ready to be used on clincher or tubular carbon fibre rims and compatible with Shimano/SRAM and Campagnolo brake systems. Supplied as left and right brake pads, if you require pads for both front and rear wheels, please add 2 to your basket.
Please note, Zipp Tangente Cork Composite Brake Pad Inserts for Carbon Rim can only be used with carbon fibre brake track and NOT aluminium.
