Showcasing some of the world’s biggest brands, we headed to Core Bike at Silverstone to see what exciting products were coming our way in 2016.

A relatively new brand to the saddle market, Astute are an Italian company that produce high quality, performance-orientated saddles. With six new saddles being introduced into the range for 2016, including a time trial specific offering, you're sure to find the saddle for you.

Italians are renowned for their style and the Skylite on display did not disappoint!

One of the most exciting saddles in the range is the Skylab. Coming soon, this carbon railed this saddle will retail for less than £150.

We do love our shades and we couldn't help ourselves trying on BBB's sunglasses.

Affordable, stylish and offering excellent clarity and protection, this is just another reason why we love riding our bikes in the sun!

Castelli had a wide array of products on display. The winter and sock collection was definitely drawing in the crowds, with their unique designs and fresh approach to performance clothing.

The Ferrari of the bike world, Colnago had a range of machines on display. The V1-r is available in an eye watering green colour scheme, while the C60 Disc shows this traditional Italian bike manufacturer is still up to date when it comes to using the latest technology on their bikes.

ENVE are known for their state-of-the-art wheels and they have not disappointed with their new 7.2 wheelset.

This features a new brake track that offers better stopping power in the wet. The rim depth makes it perfect for time trials, triathlons and road racing.

The American company don't just stop at rims, they have also produced a set of carbon fibre hubs to compliment their carbon fibre arsenal. At a mere 230 grams, with CeramicSpeed bearings, this could quite possibly the ultimate hubset.

Gracing the feet of riders such as Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe, the Fizik shoe range is both attractive and performance driven. With road, triathlon, men's and women's shoes in the collection, there is no excuse not to stand out from the crowd on the bike.

Kinesis are a brand synonymous with their range of cyclocross bikes, so for 2016 the company have invested heavily in their gravel road bike range.

The Kinesis Racelight Gran Fondo Ti Disc offers exceptional comfort, with the help of its titanium frame, and practicality is addressed with rack and mudguard mounts. Further enhancing the ride is the new fork, which can accommodate 30 millimetre road or cyclocross tyres.

This is a clean looking frameset, with internal cable routing allowing you to run the bike with a 1X drivetrain.

The bow radius stays ensure a smooth ride but do not impact on performance. The embossed headtube is stiff and responsive, making it perfect for throwing the bike round corners.

Knog are an Australian company who produce a range of lights for everything from commuting to more rural riding. The lights use simple mounting options and offer a wide selection of beam modes. The Knog GoPro combination was a cool setup, that keeps your handlebar clean of clutter and provides a secure attachment for both devices.

Get that personalised touch with Lake shoes. Priding themselves on their comfortable, supportive and stylish footwear, Lake shoes can be heat moulded in store to your exacting requirements. The splash of colour on their stand shows what you can do if you opt to go custom.

Precision tools, lights and now GPS computers; Lezyne had a fantastic display of products at Core Bike show.

Catching our eye, the multi tool range does not just look beautiful, it is also functional and reliable; ready to get you out of even the stickiest of situations.

Rotor is a small Spanish company punching big with their range of components. Entering the groupset market, their new Uno uses hydraulic Magura brakes and a hydraulic shifting system to provide effortless and smooth gear changes.

Bike shows can be thirsty work, so we were happy Skratch Labs were on hand to hydrate us. Natural, tasty and refreshing, the drinks both quenched our thirst and are perfect for a wide range of activities, both on and off the bike.
