HED Ardennes Plus SL Thru Axle Clincher Disc Wheelset
The perfect partner for your disc brake road bike, the HED Ardennes Plus SL Thru Axle Clincher Disc Wheel will give you the confidence to ride hard in all conditions.
At the top of the Ardennes range, the SL wheelset is lightweight and fast, engineered to offer excellent ride quality. With an external rim width of 25mm wider tyres can be used, resulting in more comfort, and grip through corners. The tubeless compatibility increases their versatility with tubeless rim tape included.
Aluminium Sonic Disc hubs feature; HED's new 545 J-bend hub and the rear hub is equipped with a grease port. The freehub is compatible with Shimano and SRAM 9, 10 and 11-speed cassettes and all this comes in at a weight of 1535 grams.
HED has added the Lite Bladed spokes to shave weight and both front and rear have a 24 spoke count.
Tubeless rim tape is included.
Brake rotors, tyres and inner tubes are not included but are available to purchase separately. Thru-axles are specific to the frame so are not supplied with the wheels.
